Oblique Rhombic Prism by Christopher Boots celebrates sacred geometry, ascribing symbolic meanings to geometric proportions, forms and shapes. This parallelogram based form hints at structures from the DNA of the Kabbalah, and suggests a quantum based consciousness might be represented as a three dimensional form. The use of Lapis Lazuli in references the ancient and powerful qualities of this semi-precious stone, used since Neolithic times in ceremonial, jewellry and artistic applications. The lapis used in this work has been sourced from the Badakhshan province in northeast Afghanistan.
