“The Line is made up of various two-tone pieces of raw and white linen twine crocheted. All are born from the same idea of the double development starting from a line which continues, driven by a play of divisions and mergers. All respond to the number 4, which is, for me, an echo to the animal structure, and to human symmetry. They speak of exchanges, of circulation, they are networks made up of meetings and separations. And if their networks come to a standstill, they extend somewhere in invisible and endless ramifications. The Line is a forest, the rooted part of which can be seen as the aerial part, a mangrove that rises to a limpid high while expanding below in more opaque waters "
