  • "This sculpture made for the Genius Loci event is the first that I have built horizontally.
    I wanted to register it in the villa in order to best capture the spirit of the place and play with correspondence.

    Angelo takes again the horizontality and the whiteness of the Flying Angel unfolds in a pair of open and symmetrical wings like an angel or the legs of a crab or a bow tie like those worn by Gio Ponti or a farfalle dough, a pillar of Italian cuisine ends in “fingers” reminiscent of Gio Ponti's white ceramic hands

    In the center of the room, a horizontal notch in which you can slip your hand as you do in “La Bocca della Verità” in Rome.
    By a pareidoly effect, I see a face of the same species in the center of the facade of the Flying Angel, two round eyes and a large mouth opened.

    Angelo is a gentle flight, a sensual welcome, a benevolent deployment. "
